Pediatric dentistry

Pediatric dentistry is a service specifically designed for the oral health of children between the age of 0 and 12 years old. This service is offered at the Michel Malboeuf Dental Clinic so you can find all quality care under one roof.

Beyond his expertise in the growth and development of teeth, the treatment of caries on milk and permanent teeth, our General Dental Surgeon knows how to build a relationship of trust and collaboration with the young patients, especially the most fearful ones.

It is normal that you want what is best for your child, and that is why we take the time to reassure and communicate with you and your child, so that from one visit to the other, fear and anxiety linked to dentistry decreases.

Caries at a young age

Caries can occur early in children, soon after teeth begin forming in their mouth, and it is wrong to believe that nothing should be done because the baby tooth will eventually fall. In fact, omitting to treat it could lead to infection or issues in the development of permanent teeth. Temporary teeth make room for permanent ones, so they are important.

Caries on baby teeth should therefore not be neglected and our dentist in charge of paediatric care makes sure that the child feels comfortable throughout the treatment.
