Choose the right size brush. The brush should fit between the teeth without forcing it. If it does, the brush is too big for the space. Conversely, the brush should not "float" in the space. If it does, the brush is too small for the space.

You need to move the brush 3-4 times in the space to ensure adequate friction. Multiple brush sizes can be used in the same mouth.
